Rooting Hope
The BABS Initiative is bringing life back to the land through tree planting and community greening. Each sapling represents renewal, shade, and nourishment — a growing reminder that transformation begins with a single act of care. Together, we’re restoring balance between people, nature, and hope.

From Soil to Soul
Through the BABS Initiative, trees become more than greenery — they are gifts of life. The project restores the environment while feeding and empowering communities. From soil to soul, it connects people to purpose, reminding us that nurturing the earth is nurturing ourselves.

Planting Futures
BABS Initiative plants seeds of sustainability and self-reliance. By growing fruit and shade trees, it strengthens food security, supports livelihoods, and inspires environmental responsibility. Each root anchors a story of resilience, ensuring that future generations inherit a greener, thriving Uganda.

The Nsumba Edgar Annual Memorial Medical Camp is held in honor of the late Edgar Nsumba, a passionate medical student whose life was cut short by sickle cell disease. The camp focuses on creating awareness about sickle cell disease, providing free medical care, and encouraging preventive health practices within communities.
Through partnerships with healthcare professionals, Nakasero Blood Bank, and pharmaceutical companies, the camp offers health education sessions, medical check-ups, and screening services. It aims to bring vital healthcare closer to rural areas, promote early detection, and inspire healthy living.
With the support of donors, organizations, and volunteers, The Nsumba Edgar Annual Memorial Medical Camp continues Edgar’s vision—bringing hope, care, and awareness to communities across Uganda.
